VendorBook

Terms of use

Effective October 11, 2026

VendorBook is made by SoloFive LLC (“we”). By using the VendorBook app or website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use VendorBook. Questions: support@vendorbook.app.

Who can use VendorBook

You must be 18 or older to use VendorBook. Use it only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.

Your account

  • You sign in with a code we email you, or with Apple or Google. Keep those accounts secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Truck accounts must belong to someone who runs that truck, cart or stand. We confirm this before a truck account sees event requests, and we may reject or remove a claim we can't confirm.
  • Trucks are responsible for their own permits, licenses, insurance, food safety and taxes.
  • You can delete your account any time, in the app or on the website. See how to delete your account.

Event requests and bookings

  • VendorBook connects customers, trucks and venues, including fill-ins between trucks. We aren't a party to any deal between them, don't cook or serve food, and don't guarantee that a truck will answer, accept, show up, or perform as agreed. We don't promise you'll get requests, bookings or sales.
  • Price, menu, deposits, permits, insurance and cancellations are agreed directly between the customer and the truck. Make sure what you agree is in writing.
  • Requests wait a few minutes before trucks see them, so you can call them off. Once a customer chooses a truck, we share each side's contact details with the other.
  • For trucks not on VendorBook, we may tell them about a request you sent them by email or by message, and they may answer on a page we send them.

Information in VendorBook

Schedules, places, permits, street trucks, crowds and city rules come from public sources and from users. We work to keep them right, but they can be wrong or out of date. Check with the venue, the truck or the city before you rely on them. City rules are our summary of city codes as we read them, not legal advice, and may be out of date. Following permit, health, fire, parking and zoning rules is up to you, and we aren't responsible for citations or fines.

What you post

You're responsible for what you post: event requests and notes, answers and quotes, fill-ins, directory listings, logs and messages. Don't post anything that is:

  • false, misleading, or about a truck or venue you don't represent;
  • harassing, hateful, threatening, sexual, or otherwise abusive;
  • someone else's private information without their permission;
  • spam, advertising that isn't yours to make, or an attempt to get around these rules.

You keep ownership of what you post. You let us store, show and send it as needed to run VendorBook (for example, showing your answer to the customer who asked), and use your stop logs, without your name, sales or fees, in pooled busy-or-slow information, which can stay after you delete your account. If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them freely. You can report anything that breaks these rules in the app or at support@vendorbook.app; we review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts.

Paid features

  • Free week. Truck accounts start with a free week, once per email address. You don't give a card for it, and it doesn't turn into a paid plan by itself.
  • Subscription. After the free week, the truck features (where to work, event requests, your week and what pays) need a subscription: $25 a month in the US. You can subscribe in the iPhone or Android app, or with a card on vendorbook.app. One subscription works everywhere you sign in.
  • In the iPhone or Android app: there's no extra free trial. Apple or Google charges you $25 the day you subscribe, so to use your whole free week, subscribe when it ends.
  • With a card on vendorbook.app: 7-day free trial, then $25 a month. The card subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, once per account. You give a card at checkout, and you aren't charged during the 7 days. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription automatically: your card is charged $25 when the 7 days end, and $25 every month after that. The 7-day trial starts the day you subscribe by card; any free week you have left runs at the same time. If you've had a card subscription on vendorbook.app before, there's no trial: your card is charged $25 the day you subscribe. The checkout shows the price, and any trial, before you confirm.
  • Renewal and cancelling. Your subscription renews every month until you cancel. Cancel any time, online, to stop future charges:
    • On vendorbook.app: Me → Your plan → Manage subscription, which opens your billing page. Cancel before the 7-day trial ends and you're never charged. Cancel later and you aren't charged again.
    • In the app: in your App Store subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings, at least a day before it renews.
    Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep access until the end of the trial or the month you paid for. Deleting your VendorBook account cancels a subscription bought on vendorbook.app, but not one bought through Apple or Google: cancel those in the store.
  • If a payment fails, you keep access for a short time while the payment is tried again.
  • In the app, Apple or Google handles payment and refunds under their rules; we can't give those refunds ourselves. On vendorbook.app, VendorBook charges your card through Stripe (with RevenueCat running the checkout); for a refund, email support@vendorbook.app.
  • If we change the price, you're told ahead of time (by the store, or by email if you subscribed on vendorbook.app), and you won't pay the new price unless you agree to it.

Things you may not do

  • Copy, scrape or resell VendorBook's data, or use it to build a competing service.
  • Interfere with VendorBook, try to get into accounts that aren't yours, or test its security without our written permission.
  • Use VendorBook to send messages people didn't ask for.

Using the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the VendorBook app and website under these terms. VendorBook's design, data and name belong to SoloFive LLC. If you got the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support.

Ending things

You can stop using VendorBook and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and we may change or stop parts of VendorBook.

Disclaimers and limits

VendorBook is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, SoloFive LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost sales or a missed event), or for what trucks, venues or customers do, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

You'll cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us comes from what you post or a deal you make through VendorBook.

Changes and law

If we change these terms we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app or by email before a big change takes effect. California law governs these terms, except where the law where you live says otherwise. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Sacramento County, California, or to small claims court.

These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about VendorBook. If a part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. SoloFive LLC, Sacramento, California: support@vendorbook.app.
